Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Goods Inwards Manager / Stores Manager to join our client's team at a 4-star hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel's inventory, receiving, and storage operations. This includes ensuring that all goods delivered are of the correct quantity and quality, maintaining organized and secure storage areas, and facilitating efficient stock control to support hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the hotel's inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
* Maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
* Develop and implement effective stock control systems to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
* Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any stock-related issues.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
* Familiarity with manual handling and HAACP procedures.
