Our team in Dublin currently has an opening for a Regional Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental (QSHE) Manager - Ireland.
About the role:
As a member of the senior management team, you will deliver effective management and control of the Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance across the two sites in Ireland (Belfast & Dublin). You will be responsible for resolving complaints, providing product & technical support to customers, and maintaining compliance with relevant external quality bodies. Additionally, you will manage the regional SHE strategy and objectives through compliance with Group policies and procedures and in line with external statutory requirements and standards.
This position will be responsible for our Belfast & Dublin sites.
It will be your responsibility to:
1. Direct input to the review, update, and maintenance of the Quality, Business manuals & product specifications for the Dublin Depot, with an overview of the region.
2. Maintain and comply with the relevant standards & external bodies to meet requirements for the relevant quality standards, ensuring compliance with company policies, i.e., BRC, FEMAS, ESAD, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & HPRA.
3. Lead the implementation of BRC9 systems and act as the Management Representative during site external & customer audits. Create, manage, and audit all food safety policies and procedures.
4. Manage and maintain all Quality / Food safety policies as issued and directed by the Brenntag organization, including food safety systems, operation risk assessments, and fulfilling the role of HACCP team leader.
5. Control all quality procedures, oversee document control, and manage the production and recording of CofA’s and other customer documentation.
6. Manage the Customer & Supplier Complaint systems, including complaint investigation and corrective action implementation, management of RIN system, non-conforming product, and customer liaison.
7. Drive Continuous Improvement in depot operations by monitoring key KPI’s, identifying adverse trends, and implementing remedial actions with the support of the management team.
8. Manage the on-site QSHE training program and maintain relevant records.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory legislation, liaising with various bodies, i.e., Health & Safety Executive (UK & NI), Health & Safety Authority (ROI), Environment Protection Agency (EPA), local authorities, etc., to maintain and develop the region's current systems and application of requirements under such legislation & standards.
10. Prepare regular safety reports for senior management stakeholders, highlighting safety performance, incident trends, and recommended actions.
