Role Overview
Eir evo talent are partnering with a leading M&E Contractor, in the search for an Electrical Site Supervisor, to oversee on-site electrical operations for construction and pharmaceutical projects in Galway. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while managing electrical installations, from planning to execution. This role is essential to ensuring project efficiency, adherence to technical standards, and client satisfaction in the highly regulated pharmaceutical and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site electrical work, ensuring installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and timelines.
* Quality Control & Compliance: Monitor quality assurance measures, verifying installations meet safety standards and regulations specific to construction and pharmaceuticals.
* Team Management: Coordinate and lead site electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to site protocols.
* Technical Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges on-site, working with project engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain stringent health and safety practices, ensuring all site staff adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Electrical engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training.
* Experience: 5+ years in electrical supervision, particularly in construction or pharmaceutical environments.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with electrical systems relevant to the pharmaceutical and construction industries, along with an understanding of Irish health and safety regulations.
* Leadership Abilities: Strong team leadership, with effective communication skills to manage contractors and site teams.
