HR Manager Maternity Cover – Clayton Hotel Burlington Road
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for an exciting leadership role within the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road to cover Maternity Leave.
Located 30 minutes from Dublin International Airport and a 15-minute walk from St Stephen’s Green, our iconic Conference hotel caters for up to 1200 delegates with 20 supporting meeting rooms and 502 guest bedrooms and supporting a team of up to 300 team members.
Objective of the Role
This role reports to the Hotel General Manager, with a dotted line to the Group HR Manager.
As the HR Manager, you will provide support & guidance to the General Manager and Head of Departments and their teams across all spectrums of the HR function whilst effectively leading & developing our people, aligning our people strategy with the hotel’s strategy.
This role will ideally suit a HR Professional with a passion for learning and development within the hospitality industry and who wants to be part of an award-winning team who are leaders in their field.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategically manage the HR Function including Recruitment, Training, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Employee Health and Wellbeing, Employee Relations.
2. Drive Training and Development amongst the staff to ensure that we foster a culture of learning and development.
3. Collaborate with the General Manager in implementing the Hotel's People Strategy.
4. Proactive management of IR and ER issues, coaching and mentoring the management team on effective performance management and support within their own teams.
5. Maintain employee compliance standards for the hotel, including proper HR Records and documentation.
6. Effective payroll and cost management.

Requirements:
1. 3 to 5 years in a HR management role in a hotel is desired.
2. Proactive by nature and a self-starter.
3. 3rd level qualification in HRM, Business or similar. CIPD qualification is preferred.
4. Experience in driving employee engagement.
5. Experience of payroll and cost management.
6. Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
7. Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
