Marketing Events Administrator
Location: Cork, Ireland, Hybrid
Job Overview:
Canto is seeking a Marketing Events Administrator to support marketing events and projects, including tradeshows, virtual events, webinars, and customer meet ups. This will also include some work on marketing campaigns and social media engagement. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and product team members, as well as vendors and suppliers, to assist with planning and organizing events from concept to execution, enabling campaign administration in region, and assist with regional marketing leads.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support all aspects of events, ensuring alignment with Canto’s demand gen goals and company branding.
* Coordinate day-to-day event logistics, monitor and report on progress, and manage administrative tasks to keep everything on schedule.
* Occasional travel to events to support in-person setup and organization.
* Communicate with internal contacts, vendors, suppliers, and event partners.
* Complete registration forms and other documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
* Research vendors, suppliers, and event related items.
* Track event related expenses and shipments.
* Data entry and cleansing data related to lead lists.
* Assist in day-to-day administration of communication campaigns.
* Help with social media presence in EMEA and DACH.
* Assist with marketing administration efforts.
Qualifications & Experience needed to be successful in this role:
* 1+ year's experience in marketing, events, or related field.
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
* Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and event management software is preferred but not required.
* Effective organizational and time management skills; Ability to manage event timelines, coordinate logistics, and ensure deadlines are met. Capable of juggling multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and quality.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure event materials, communications and logistics are accurate.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and people skills; ability to create clear and engaging event promotions, emails and social media posts, as well as communicate with various internal and external audiences.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
