WHAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES:
1. To lead a kitchen with great gusto and honour.
2. To make sure all food is up to standard in keeping with the set guidelines.
3. Ensure kitchen is kept to a high level of cleanliness.
4. To be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen while coordinating with the front of house team.
5. Enforcement of health and safety standards within the kitchen.
6. To be able to stand over the quality of every plate of food leaving the kitchen.
7. Responsible for kitchen recruitment KPs and Chefs.
8. Good maintenance of kitchens.
9. Responsible for maintaining food standards.
10. Responsible for maintaining agreed labour & food costs.
11. Co-ordinate rosters & stocktakes.
12. Manage & control a busy kitchen.
13. Menu planning & execution.
14. Training of junior staff.
15. Constant upkeep of HACCP within kitchen.
16. Purchasing & stock control.
17. To write menus and oversee that menu training is completed for all relevant staff.
18. To be a brand ambassador and remember your place as a senior manager.
19. To provide social media content for marketing team.
20. Responsible for minimising food waste.
21. To ensure staff are fed nutritious and tasty staff meals.
22. To ensure credit for goods is followed up.
23. To have exceptional personal appearance and insist on the same from junior members of staff.
24. To attend staff social events.
