Position: Senior Manufacture Electronic Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Electronic Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this role, you will support existing products and oversee the introduction of new products at our contract manufacturers. You will be responsible for analysing and resolving manufacturing issues to ensure smooth production processes.
What You’ll Do:
1. Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring compliance with RoHS, REACH, UL, and EN standards.
2. Assist in updating existing products for manufacturing to maintain efficiency and compliance.
3. Facilitate the relocation of existing products to new manufacturing locations.
4. Address manufacturing maintenance issues through a prioritized Agile Kanban process.
5. Specify alternative components as needed for production challenges.
6. Collaborate with Design Engineers to ensure effective Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) practices.
7. Conduct supplier process audits globally to ensure adherence to approval standards.
8. Work cross-functionally to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
1. Senior Electronic Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering.
2. Experience in product release to manufacturing, including transferring builds and conducting First Article Inspections.
3. Proficient in troubleshooting manufacturing build issues and resolving customer product escalations.
4. Skilled in fault-finding for analogue and digital solutions and managing Bill of Materials.
5. Experienced in sourcing alternatives for obsolete electronic components.
6. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is beneficial.
7. Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
8. Willingness to travel periodically to contract manufacturer sites.
