Service: Glade View Residential Service
Contract: Maternity Leave, 32.5 hours per week + sleep-ins

Job Brief
The successful applicant will be required to deliver on the vision for the people they are supporting. You will support individuals to gain valued social roles in their lives and participate in meaningful creative activities through developing appropriate supports. You will also advocate on behalf of the individuals regarding their needs and preferences and support the development of their Individual Plans.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant 3rd level qualification in Social Care, or equivalent (minimum level 7)
* Qualification must be eligible for CORU registration
* Experience in facilitating and supporting people with high and/or complex needs
* A genuine understanding and interest in working alongside people to effect positive opportunities and change in their lives
* The ability to listen, see, and respectfully advocate for individuals regarding their needs, preferences, rights, and dreams
* Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of teamwork, with the motivation to deliver high-quality facilitation
* A strong belief in people's rights, inclusion, and equality
* Flexibility to respond to service demands
* Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations is essential
* Good knowledge of IT skills is preferable
Other Requirements
* Full driver's license is essential
* All applicants will be subject to Irish Garda Vetting & Reference checks
* Applicants from outside the E.U. must provide relevant work authorization for employment in the Republic of Ireland
* Overseas Police Clearance required if lived outside of Ireland or Northern Ireland for more than 6 months since age 18

Salaries are based on full-time working hours (39 hours per week)
