The Global Network and Cabling Decommissioning team is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) who is a passionate advocate for infrastructure decommissioning in particular abandonned cabling material.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders across multiple organizations to define strategy and requirements to maximize life expectancy of our sites.
- Responsible for scoping and delivering end-to-end solutions that may span multiple teams.
- Collaborate with Network Engineering and software development teams and global process owners to architect and deliver technical solutions.
- Responsible to use technical expertise and deliver cable decommissioning solutions to complex problems.
- Work across organizations to create and drive process improvements and introduce efficiencies in the cable decommissioning space.
- Own project roadmaps and lead implementation efforts.
- Build process flows with stakeholders that seeks balance between efficiencies and network safety.
A day in the life
You will use your technical expertise to deliver cable decommissioning solutions to complex problems where there is no established process available and drive critical projects to completion. You will partner with the NCD managers and other stakeholders to deliver difficult, cross-functional infrastructure decommissioning projects. You will find solutions to safely remove End-of-Life assets at scale and thereby maximizing expected life of our sites. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) creating training programs and SOPs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Your job requires a high degree of judgement, the ability to negotiate and influence delivery across teams, and excellent communication skills.
2. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Program Management or a similar degree.
3. Operational experience required and Data center experience is highly preferred as we decommission network racks and cabling materiak with high blast radius.
4. 10+ years of industry experience, strong technical project management skills e.g. project definition, requirement definition, project plan creation and execution, risk management, measurement of success Strong technical background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 2. Cross-team coordination and executive presentation skills.
3. Experience with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, PMI methodologies
