Key Responsibilities as Site Manager
Positively and actively drive towards an embedded HS&E culture taking an approach that creates a continually progressive culture driving our number one core value for Safety.
Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Lead all aspects of Project Team functions (PEP, Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management & Project Close Out)
Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, with specific reference to the HSE & Quality plan.
Prepare contract report and with the QS provide updates to monthly cost meetings.
Review buildability and identify methods of construction with commercial or programme advantage where possible.
Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
Develop project plans and schedules and execute plans to achieve agreed outcomes.
Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications.
Manage complete day to day life-cycle of project from initial stages through to hand-over.
Meet agreed objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
Achieve a 'right first time' philosophy throughout the project life cycle.
To be responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical & engineering expertise throughout the project life-cycle.
Manage the day to day site operations of subcontractors on site.
Manage the work flow of sub-contractors ensuring they're in line with the program of works on site.
Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress.
Quality management and BCAR co-ordination, overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
Handle technical queries when necessary and interface with the client, consultant and architect in regards to RFIs.
