About the OpportunityContentful is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst (f/m/d) to join our tax team.
The Senior Tax Analyst (f/m/d) will be responsible for all EMEA direct and indirect tax compliance, assistance with quarterly and yearly tax provisioning, and assisting the business with tax strategy, planning and other ad-hoc projects.
This position is fully remote and will report to the Tax Manager based in Dublin.
What to expect?
Utilize outside tax advice and resources as reasonably required, for effective, accurate, timely, complete, and efficient identification of all material non-US jurisdictions and full ownership of the filing and reporting tax requirements therein; and, oversee the preparation, processing, calculating, auditing, filing, payments and other general dispositions of all related tax compliance requirements for Contentful.
These include, but are not limited to: Non-US annual income tax returns and estimated paymentsNon-US VAT, OSS and GST tax returns Advise and assist the accounting team will all tax related transactions impacting Contentful's financial statements including the quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax related balance sheet accounts, including account roll-forwards and allowances, and all required disclosures.Ensure proper tax accounting for differences between local and US GAAP books and assist with financial statement audits re: tax matters as required.Reconciliation and collectability assessments of the monthly EMEA VAT tax liabilities.Monitor Non-US tax authority notices, identify, manage and successfully resolve any related inquiries, assessments or tax audits.Examine and document income tax laws regarding global profit allocations, net operating losses and other relevant matters and monitor other income tax law developments in jurisdictions in which the Company is reasonably potentially materially exposed.Assist with the compliance of all applicable global transfer pricing matters.
Assist with the preparation, executions, timely upkeep, and compliance of all inter-company agreements.
Effectively collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Legal, People and Go to Market teams as needed and requested.Assist with other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
What you need to be successful 6+ years of relevant international tax experience in Big 4, law firm and/or tech industry in EMEAUniversity degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax or accounting preferredStrong international tax knowledge and familiarity of tax issues for a multinational companyStrong analytical, documentation and research skillsStrong stakeholder management and collaboration skillsHands-on, independent, able to multitask and prioritise What's in it for You?
