Post Summary:
A vacancy exists for an experienced professional in the position of a Team Leader in the Campus Maintenance Team within the Estates and Facilities (E&F) Department of Trinity College Dublin. The purpose of the role is to plan and lead the provision of high-quality campus maintenance service across all campuses to the students, staff, and visitors of Trinity College Dublin and its wider Estate.
The Team Leader will work together with the existing Team Leader in leading the experienced in-house team of approximately 15 staff consisting of a senior grounds person, grounds person, operatives, and craft gardeners. The Team Leader will provide the necessary cohesive oversight, leadership, and supervision of the team and contracted external partners. The Team Leader will be part of the Campus Maintenance Leadership Team in delivering the maintenance for all hard and soft landscaping, litter management, Sports Grounds, drainage, and Tree Collection on the estate.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 39 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive 1 Salary Scale (€53,435 - €63,464 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
