About the Role:
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in a newly created role designed to support the financial health of our quick-service outlets.
This role will blend strategic financial expertise with hands-on support to managers and key stakeholders, enabling the business to achieve optimal financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee the financial performance of all quick-service outlets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports tailored to operational needs.
* Set sales targets as well as planning and executing strategies to achieve them.
* Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
* Track key KPIs and EBITDA.
Business Partnering:
* Collaborate with outlet managers to identify financial opportunities and risks, driving data-informed decisions.
* Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into profitability, cost management, and financial strategies.
* Deliver financial training and guidance to non-finance managers enhancing their understanding of key metrics.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and events that drive footfall and increase customer engagement.
Retail Support:
* Develop and implement financial processes to improve efficiency and accountability at outlet levels.
* Analyse and track performance metrics, such as labour costs, stock management, and sales, to enhance profitability across the business.
* Support managers in planning and executing financial aspects of business initiatives or expansions.
Business Development:
* Evaluate Capital investments and project feasibility.
* Lead the financial piece of capital project execution.
* Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with business goals, ensuring seamless integration of POS systems and our finance software for fast sales data access.
Compliance & Risk Management:
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies across outlets.
* Conduct periodic audits to mitigate financial risks and improve controls.
What We Are Looking For:
* Qualifications: A qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights.
* Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strategic Mindset: An ability to connect financial analysis to broader business objectives.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and advise at all levels.
* Experience: Prior experience in a finance business partner role, ideally within retail or a similar sector, is a plus.
