Lead Control Systems Integration Engineer – Automation
Location: Remote (based in Cork) with travel to the UK for training and commissioning Working Hours: Full-time (08:30–17:15 Monday to Thursday, 08:30–16:00 on Fridays)
Salary: €50K – €60K per annum plus benefits package

Role Overview
In this role as Lead Automation Control Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of project delivery—from initial conception through design and development to on-site commissioning.
Your role encompasses not only technical execution, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and technical compliance.
This position is pivotal in establishing and growing operations in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
* Lead the design and amendment of control system software (PLC, HMI/SCADA).
* Oversee programming for PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and SCADA systems (Wonderware, Iconics).
Project Management:
Team Leadership:
* Mentor and motivate a team of engineers, providing guidance and technical oversight.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in automation and control systems
Education:
Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related qualifications
Technical Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and SCADA systems (Wonderware, Schneider)
Additional Requirements:
* Full, clean driving licence.
* Eligibility to work in the Ireland.
