You should also have experience working in a busy consulting engineering firm, working on or specialising in transportation, road, bridge, tunnel, drainage, active travel or water/wastewater projects.We are looking for ambitious forward-thinking individuals interested in propelling their career forward with Egis. The successful candidate will experience working with our teams in design and project management, from concept design to project handover, on major and award-winning civil infrastructure projects. As part of our team you’ll play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing various infrastructure projects throughout Ireland, with the following responsibilities:Develop and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completionPrepare detailed designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3DConduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibilityPerform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and safetyCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and local authoritiesEnsure compliance with Irish building codes, regulations, and environmental standardsManage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficientlyPrepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholdersSupervise construction activities and conduct quality control inspectionsIdentify and resolve engineering problems that arise during project executionQualificationsYour qualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum of 2+ Years Experience: (Junior 2 to 4 years.
