About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Client Asset Oversight team in Risk as an Associate. The team is responsible for the oversight of key client asset activity within the Firm, ensuring statutory requirements are met in relation to the Client Asset Regulations, and that there is clear oversight of operational activity related to client assets including reconciliations, reporting, and calculations.
In the role, the successful candidate will:
* Monitor the accuracy of client asset reconciliations and calculations.
* Complete deep dive thematic client asset assurance reviews.
* Assist in the provision of training to Davy employees in relation to client asset regulations.
* Assist in the management of client asset examinations performed by our external auditors.
* Maintain client asset dashboards and report same to team and Executive Risk Management Committee.
* Ensure all statutory reviews are completed.
* Assist in the delivery of regulatory returns.
* Implement process improvements related to client asset oversight activity.
* Take an active role in client asset-related matters and projects.
Requirements
About you

* 3rd level Degree or relevant work experience in the financial industry;
* Logical and solution-driven;
* Good communication and interpersonal skills;
* Accuracy and attention to detail;
* Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines;
* Proven team player with a flexible attitude towards work;
* Willingness to take initiative and participate in projects.
