Job Responsibilities Prepare and submit Irish tax returns, including VAT and corporation tax filings.
Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to ensure adherence to all Irish tax legislation and regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and PAYE.
Liaise with external tax advisors and tax authorities as necessary.
Support the finance team with the preparation of tax-related financial statements.
Develop and maintain tax compliance policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tax-related risks and opportunities associated with business operations.
Undertake and assist with special projects as required.Required Skills: Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit processes, and tax legislation.
Demonstrated experience with preparing intricate tax returns for corporations.
Meticulous attention to detail, adept organisation skills, and the ability to deliver on tight timelines.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Capability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural team with patience and understanding.
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Experience gained from a Big-4 accounting firm is preferred.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Over one year of experience in Irish tax, preferably with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation.
ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
