Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Academic Building project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other stakeholders. Maintain positive relationships through strong interpersonal skills, collegiality, and teamwork.
* Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure financial objectives are met. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
* Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Proactively address potential delays and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with relevant building codes and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* Proven Experience: Project Manager in construction, preferably with a focus on student accommodation or similar multi-unit residential projects.
* Excellent Skills: Verbal and written communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Familiarity: Construction methods, building codes, and regulations specific to student accommodation facilities.
* Able to Work Independently: Creative thinker with the ability to develop new and unique ways to support existing structures.
