Facilities Technician
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for providing maintenance and technical support to site utilities at the plant, adhering to all site safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory, cGMP and HPRA standards.
Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with the Engineering Department and other departments to achieve shared goals.
* Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on site utility equipment.
* Proactively identify and address re-occurring technical issues.
* Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to record maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and cGMP requirements.
* Execute preventative and corrective work orders using SAP-PM.
* Provide daily reporting of maintenance activities at tier meetings, ensuring timely communication of issues and open items.
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of site utilities, including HVAC, compressed air, MPHW boilers, chillers, and purified water systems.
* Assist in developing and improving new and existing maintenance plans critical to site utilities within a cGMP environment.
* Maintain a strong working relationship with site customers, ensuring their needs are met.
* Supervise external contractors on site, ensuring adherence to site safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
* QQI Level 6 electrical qualification or equivalent.
* Minimum of a mechanical apprenticeship with at least 5 years of experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry post-qualification.
* Experience operating and/or maintaining utility systems.
* Experience managing contractors.
* Calibration experience is advantageous.
