Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Ensure that the assigned projects are delivered on time and within budget as agreed by effectively and appropriately overseeing all issues surrounding risks, contracts, operations and communications.
* Manage performance and budgets, ensuring they are well-coordinated and running in accordance with the agreed contract program.
* Manage the design team members to ensure best value, buildable solutions whilst managing program expectations from planning stage to completion.
* Provide clear leadership and direction to the site teams, whether direct or subcontracted.
* Resolve any escalated technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
* Budget and plan material plant and labour resources and implementing forward planning.
* Oversee costing and billing to ensure the project is on budget.
* Ensure compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations for safe construction at all times.
* Supervise the successful completion of all Civil works on the site.
* Produce technical calculations to high standards of quality using current computer software.
* Recommend and prepare technical papers.
* Assist the Quantity Surveyor with site quantities and measures for monthly valuations.
* Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners.
* Assist the Site delivery team in maintaining project documentation and trackers.
Requirements:
* Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience).
* Background in residential developments essential.
* Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
* A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects.
* Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key.
* The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.
