Your Role
We are seeking a highly experienced finance leader to manage our finance functions across sites in Galway and Limerick.
Oversight and Control
You will oversee all financial reporting with an experienced team handling most general ledger and month-end duties.
You will ensure strong financial controls and processes are in place, and that all systems are optimized for maximum effect.
Business Partnership
You will act as a business partner to our General Managers across the two sites.
You will have significant decision-making power and autonomy to suggest and implement changes as you see fit.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you must be a fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
Strong technical accounting knowledge is essential, with group reporting experience being a plus.
While we are flexible about your background, a good working knowledge of cost accounting and experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industry are advantageous.
You should display a strong and proactive personality with a solutions-first, analytical mindset.
You should also have a passion for achieving operational and commercial excellence and display aptitude for strategic decision-making.
Effective communication skills, both written and interpersonal, are a must, as well as strong analytical skills.
What We Offer
You will receive a very competitive starting salary of between €80,000-€100,000.
In addition, you will receive healthcare, pension, and a hybrid working option with entitlement to work from home a couple of days per week.
There is ample room for progression in the role, as the company is part of a wider European network and as the company grows, the position within the Group will grow also.
