This is a permanent position, working 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday.
The position includes weekend and shift work.
The main purpose of this role is to be the link between all departments of the hotel and ensure a smooth and consistent 5-star service is offered to all guests.
Main duties include (but are not limited to):
General OperationsEnsure the smooth operations of the day-to-day functioning of the hotel.
Conduct walkarounds of the hotel to ensure that everyone and everything is as it should be.
Assist in departments to ensure smooth service.
Lead by example and actively encourage collaboration between departments & teams to ensure efficiency and maintain 5-star service.
Monitor procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
Guest ExperienceGreet all guests with a professional welcome and smile.
Anticipate guests' needs to enhance quality service and client experience.
Stay up to date on daily functions to answer any guest questions and queries.
People Management & TrainingCommunicate effectively with team members, promoting good working relationships and creating a positive working environment and culture.
Assess staffing requirements and complete rosters adequately and fairly to ensure appropriate staffing to meet operational and guest requirements.
Assist in creating, developing, and updating SOPs.
Maintain and build a close working relationship with the Heads of Departments and their teams.
