Environmental Engineer A Tier 1 Main Contractor in Dublin is seeking an Environmental Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join their team on a large-scale project-based Northside of the Liffey in Dublin City Centre.

Role: Work closely with the Project and Construction Management Teams to ensure environmental compliance across all phases of construction, from pre-construction through to handover.
Conduct regular site walkovers to identify and monitor environmental risks, constraints, and opportunities for improved sustainability performance.
Support the implementation of the projects Environmental Management Plan (EMP), including aspects such as waste management, noise, dust, water quality, biodiversity, and material use.
Coordinate and supervise the input of environmental sub-consultants and specialists, ensuring timely delivery of reports, permits, and assessments.
Engage with relevant stakeholders including clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to report on environmental performance and ensure alignment with legal obligations.
Assist in the preparation and submission of environmental reports, audit findings, and compliance documentation required by planning authorities and regulatory bodies.
Contribute to project planning by advising on environmental risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies during construction scheduling and logistics planning.

Requirements: Relevant professional qualification, preferably in Environmental Science and/or Engineering, or Town Planning/EIAR Project Management.
A member of Engineers Ireland Ideally chartered or working towards chartership The successful Environmental Engineer must have knowledge and experience in Environmental Impact Assessment Reports.
Experience and strong capability in Environment Project Management.
