PR and Communications Executive (German Speaking)
Ryanair are currently recruiting for a PR & Communications Executive to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

To support us on this exciting growth journey, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking PR & Communication Executive to join our best-in-class Communications Team.
This is a dynamic role filled with both challenge and opportunity. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in delivering Ryanair’s communications strategy from promoting our commercial activity to pushing for policy changes that support our growth plans. To do this, you’ll need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be able to think on your feet and use your own initiative, and have exceptional attention-to-detail, as well as having a genuine interest in current affairs.
Duties include:
1. Collaborating with other internal departments to gather information to support and strengthen our communications.
2. Preparing and translating press releases, presentations, and other press materials, ensuring an on-time and error-free delivery.
3. Coordinating media and key stakeholder events.
4. Pitching interviews and delivering strategic briefing notes for Senior Management.
5. Managing press queries and crafting press statements.
6. Building and maintaining media relations, particularly in the DACH markets.
7. Media monitoring and coverage analysis, particularly for the DACH markets.
Requirements
1. Must have German language proficiency.
2. Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
3. Experience in a communications, public relations, or media role.
4. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong understanding of the German & wider DACH media landscape.
7. Ability to travel internationally as required.
8. An interest in the aviation industry is not essential but it will help!
