Do you want to learn more?A snapshot of your key responsibilities as an Warehouse Technician would be:Execute the day-to-day supply chain activities in the Warehouse to include receiving non-inventory, raw material, sampling raw materials, staging raw materials and shipping finished product.Carrying out weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.Management of waste for AbbVie through the preparation of documentation and shipping on a timely basis.Team co-ordination to maximize the effectiveness of all of the team members.Documentation of all activities in line with cGMP requirements.Cross training within the team and training of new team members.Participation in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems.Updating of BOP's to reflect current best practices.Maintaining the overall cGMP of the pharmaceutical warehouse / processing areas.Adhere to and maintain support of all Environmental Health Safety and Energy initiatives.QualificationsWhat you will need: Certificate / Diploma qualification in suitable Logistics /science/engineering course is desirable.2+ year experience in Batch processing operations in an FDA/ HPRA regulated industry coupled with 2/3 years' experience with safe handling of dangerous chemicals is desirable.Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the pharmaceutical or similar industry is desirable.Forklift license is essential.The position requires the knowledge of national and international regulations for the safe transportation of hazardous materials including label codes, documentation, license etc.
DGSA or IATA training is desirable but not essential.Good IT skills are required for this position.Requires a high level of attention to detail and mental concentration, to ensure accuracy and total compliance with procedures at all times.Strong communication skills both verbal and written are required for the execution of this role.Requires total commitment to quality and maintaining a high standard of work at all times.The position requires a moderate level of manual work, in the movement, charging and discharging of raw materials and finished products.
