Front End Developer
Job Type: contract – 12+ months highly extendable
Location: Dublin – Hybrid
Front End Developer Role Requirements
* Create front-end applications in Microsoft Power Platform that sit on top of the buildings and land API.
* Create other potential front-end applications for internal or external use.
* Lead on UI design, including reporting.
* Create maps and other geospatial visualisations as part of front-end application development.
* Create integrations with relevant internal and external systems.
* Work with internal technical partners (Digital Workplace, Data Analytics Unit, GIS, Local ITs) to identify, understand and resolve technical issues.
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary, agile product development team.
Key Deliverables
The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role:
* MS Power Platform applications for Internal use.
* Reporting dashboards for internal & external use.
* Other front-end applications for internal or external use.
* Support the development of a Data Standard for buildings and land.
* Integrations with relevant internal and external systems.
Key Experience
* Demonstrable experience iteratively developing front-end applications, including in MS Power Platform. (Should also be familiar with HTML, JavaScript / node js, and ideally Python).
* Demonstrable experience iteratively developing reporting dashboards.
* Demonstrable experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* A strong understanding of contemporary product management methods and approaches. (Agile, DevOps etc)
* Demonstrable experience in supporting ‘on the job’ training, mentoring and staff development, either formally or informally.
* Experience working within a public sector or other large organisations, alongside subject matter experts, is desirable.
* Demonstrable experience in Civic tech or contemporary Public Sector development (such as UK GDS) is desirable.
* Experience working with property datasets and GIS is desirable.
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
