We are hiring a Quality & Safety Administrator for a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week
Responsibilities
1. Respond to enquiries and address issues pertaining to the Act's implementation or during Mental Health Tribunals, within the parameters of the position.
2. Organise and assist with every Mental Health Tribunal.
3. Keep an eye on how the hospital's audit schedule is being followed, and help with the completion of audits and the findings and recommendations that come from them.
4. Communicate with clinical and non-clinical departments to help manage quality improvement programs and make sure that lessons learnt and changes are implemented on time.
5. Support and help line managers and department leaders with the upkeep of risk registers and assessments.
6. Keep in-patient units' medical records up to date, clean, and complete with all pertinent information.
7. Participate in committees and groups as needed, making sure to be on time.
* Perform other such duties appropriate to the office as may from time to time be required under the direction of the Head of Quality, Risk, Compliance & Patient Administration.
Requirements
8. A minimum of two years of satisfactory experience in a relevant clinical or healthcare environment doing the main tasks and responsibilities listed.
9. In addition to having a high degree of appropriateness, candidates must have the necessary knowledge and skills to do the job effectively.
10. Experience in the field of mental health.
* Third-level qualification in a health-related field that is pertinent.
