Your new employer : A growing business based in Galway is searching for an account assistant to support their growing office.
This is a standalone position that will mostly consist of accounts support for the Managing Director.
Your new role: Preparing payroll for weekly paid employees and related support activities Dealing with any queries in relation to payroll and the employee clocking system.
Timely processing of supplier invoices on a monthly basis & reconciliation Bank reconciliation.
Deal and resolve supplier account queries.
Assistant when preparing tenders.
Ad hoc accounting and administration work as required (ordering new equipment/materials for the office) RCT payments Key Skills: The accounting technician qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
Must have 3-4 years' experience working in accounts ideally construction based Solid financial fundamentals Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent organiser and planner with attention to detail Ambitious, energetic, and motivated individual Additional Information: This role has a very flexible hybrid approach.
The client is happy for the ideal applicant to work from home 3-4 days a week, and office presence will be based on candidates' preference or, if there is an ongoing project, additional days may be requested.
