Medical Social Worker (Specified Purpose/Full-Time)
Interested candidates should:
1. Be CORU registered.
2. Experience as a Medical Social Worker in a hospital setting would be desirable.
3. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate excellent report writing skills.
4. Have excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
5. Have proven organisational skills.
6. Have the ability to work on own initiative, prioritise and manage a number of issues simultaneously and demonstrate attention to detail.
7. Have the ability to contribute as a member of a team including an MDT, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
8. Have the ability to demonstrate an understanding of local and national issues affecting Medical Social Work and the HSE.
