A new opportunity for a Design Services Engineer has arisen within the Engineering team at Curtiss-Wright. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently across a wide range of tasks and an aptitude to self-manage assigned projects.
The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary Engineering team that delivers schematic and PCB design, mechanical design, export compliance documentation, product assembly instructions, product documentation, customer’s configuration management and program documentation, production tests, environmental and EMC qualification, bills of materials and more.
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Responsibilities:
1. Creating assembly instructions for complex product assemblies.
2. Completing product and project documentation and verification checks of same for release of products.
3. Reviewing products for export compliance (training will/can be provided).
4. Providing assistance to Operations and Customer support teams as required.
5. Completing customer’s configuration management program documentation.
6. Providing root cause analysis and solutions where issues arise.
Your Expertise:
1. University degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
2. A good aptitude for mechanical reasoning.
3. A proven ability to balance various tasks and prioritize effectively.
4. Excellent learning and communications skills.
5. High level of attention to details.
6. Willingness to work on documentation for prolonged periods.
7. Previous experience working within an Engineering team is a plus.
8. Knowledge and practical experience with Python programming language is considered an asset.
Curtiss-Wright Aerospace Instrumentation division in Dublin, Ireland provides solutions for instrumentation, telemetry, display and control, communications, recording, airborne high-speed/high-definition imaging and network-based data acquisition applications.
