To support this launch, the EMEA Accounting team need an exceptionally talented, bright, and driven person to join our team in Cork. This position is office-based.
Key job responsibilities:
* Managing the on-boarding of new Kuiper entities, ensuring that processes and controls are in place prior to launch;
* Involvement in Kuiper EMEA Accounting close processes for Kuiper in multiple legal entities;
* Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to be able to conclude on accounting treatment of new product launches, projects and complex transactions;
* Business partnering with key stakeholders including Global Accounting team, Kuiper Expansions team, Regulatory team, Finance & Tax;
* Developing in depth knowledge of the Kuiper business and products to facilitate preparation of analytical review for internal and external reporting;
* Collaborating with local and global Accounting teams to identify and implement process improvement initiatives;
* Participating in preparation and review of statutory financial statements;
* Being a strong team player, who can operate globally, cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization, taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative.
- Project Management experience / qualification
- Significant Experience with financial reporting and audit, preferably gained within a Big Four firm.
