About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Client Growth to play a key strategic role within our Marine Science & Development business unit.
The ideal candidate will be a business development professional with a proven track record in the offshore renewables sector, experienced in implementing strategic account management approaches while driving best practices across a diverse sector.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing and driving a commercially driven BD activity across the offshore wind and marine renewable sector.
* Developing the unit's approach to strategic account management (SAM), owning several strategic accounts, and developing key partnerships as part of a Group-wide SAM initiative.
The successful candidate will use data and carry out deep market analysis, horizon scan for future developments, and identify emerging opportunities to ensure that activity is targeted and thought through.
They will work collaboratively with the marketing team to help lead the development of an effective and strategic commercial strategy for the marine sector, determining KPIs and actions across the pipeline to ensure continuous improvement.
The Director of Client Growth will have a strong track record in the development, articulation, and implementation of business strategy, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, geographic regions, and technical areas.
