Main Purpose of the Role:
Ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively, providing our customers with exceptional customer service and a fresh food offering at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations.
* Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the store, including setting, monitoring, and achieving sales targets with the team.
* Implement planograms correctly, manage employee rostering and annual leave, and maintain accurate records.
* Engage with employees and management to promote good communication in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
* Deal with customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistently with store policy.
* Embrace new initiatives and adopt new ways of working.
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant retail management position.
* Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports.
* Excellent communication skills and delegation skills.
* Possess a strong work ethic and passion for grocery retail.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
