Our client based in Thurles Co. Tipperary are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant / Administrator. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly office team and take charge of the day-to-day finance tasks in the business.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for managing the accounts and working with the company's external accountant.
Your duties will include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing payroll (weekly/monthly)
- Filing VAT and ROS returns
- Working with third-party accountants and assisting with month end procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts/admin role
- Good knowledge of accounts and payroll
- Experience using Sage an advantage
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Comfortable working as part of a small, close-knit team
