Assistant Psychologists – Community Mental Health Service, South Dublin City
CPL Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, are currently recruiting for an Assistant Psychologist for a long-term locum assignment on behalf of the community mental health service based in South Dublin city.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide counselling and psychotherapy in line with HSE best practice, across the quantum of services including provision of counselling and therapy to children and adolescents.
* Conduct assessments and individual and/or group counselling/psychotherapy with clients of the service.
* Maintain assigned clinical caseload.
The Candidate:
* A recognised qualification as a psychologist.
* Permission to work in Ireland.
* A professional approach to work.
Description:
The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team providing a range of interventions and therapies. You will be required to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions. This will include individual and group work with clients, as well as liaison with other professionals and agencies.
You will work closely with senior psychologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to individuals and families. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of psychological theories and models, with experience of working in a community mental health setting. They will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills through case studies or examples of their previous work.
