Job Title: Windows Server Infrastructure Architect
A long-term daily rate contracting role in a hybrid Dublin environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with architecture review, design, implementation, and management of Windows Server OS security hardening, including group policies, DSC configurations, LAPS, and SME-level Windows Server support and administration (AD, File Services, DFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Windows Clustering, Certificate authorities, etc).
* Define, certify, deploy, and automate Windows Server OS build configurations.
* Lifecycle manage Windows Servers, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and enforcing configuration management (virtual and physical server infrastructure).
Automation and Reporting:
* Design, implement, and manage automation activities within the Windows Server perimeter, including deployment/deprovisioning automation, identity management automation, and reporting.
* Review, recommend, and implement enhancements to reduce BAU effort, improve performance, reliability, and security within the Windows Server perimeter.
Tenant Management:
* Assist with O365 tenant management, identity security, reporting, licensing, and BAU automation.
Monitoring and Implementation:
* Perform an architectural review of the monitoring implementation within the Windows Server & VMWare perimeter, proposing and implementing changes to improve monitoring capabilities.
Requirements:
* 15+ years of experience as a Windows Server Engineer/Architect.
* Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Windows Server OS versions (2022, 2019 Core & GUI, 2016, 2012 R2).
* Expert-level understanding of Windows Server core infrastructure services (Active Directory/Azure AD, Group Policies, DFS/DFSR, Certificate Authorities, DHCP & DNS, Windows Server clustering/high availability solution).
* High level of experience managing physical server infrastructure and PowerShell/automation scripting.
Desirable Experience:
* Quest ARS, QuickConnect, Cyberark, VMWare, Ansible.
