Job Description
We are seeking compassionate individuals with mental health experience to help applicants navigate the disablement assessment process. This challenging yet rewarding role requires strong functional assessment and time management skills, as well as proficiency in computer systems.
You will undergo a 5-week training programme, followed by ongoing development opportunities and mentorship. Our career pathway programme offers a competitive salary increase up to £41,400, plus a 10% performance incentive.

Key Responsibilities:
* Meet face-to-face with applicants and review medical evidence to determine the permanence of their condition and percentage disablement.
* Play an active role in seeking additional medical evidence from GPs and other healthcare professionals.
* Gather relevant information and analyse clinical data to compile a comprehensive report supporting the Victims Payments Board's decision-making.
Qualifications:
* Fully registered social worker with at least 4 years of experience.
* Valid full driving licence and access to a car.
* Demonstrable background in Mental Health or Psychiatric speciality.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Office and IT systems.
Additional Information:
* Minimum contracted hours: 30 hours per week (part-time) or 37.5 hours per week (full-time).
* Flexible working patterns between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 4 weeks' notice for any changes.
* A competitive basic salary of £38,500, increasing up to £41,400 with our career pathway programme, plus up to 10% bonus.
