Senior Sous Chef Opportunity at the 4* Courtyard Hotel
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. If you have relevant qualifications, a passion for food, and experience in managing kitchen teams, we invite you to apply.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working approximately 45 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends and public holidays.
Main Duties:
* Assist the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
* Manage a kitchen team of 10-12 people
* Food preparation and organisation
* Prepare food for breakfast, carvery, bar, restaurant, and functions
* Provide high-level customer service
* Staff Training & Development
* Menu Development
* Ordering
* Stocktakes
* HACCP
Requirements:
* 2/3 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or busy food business
* HACCP training
* Experience in kitchen financial management (desirable)
* Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
* Ability to train and develop junior team members
* Excellent communication and people management skills
