Job Description
This role is office based out of our Cork site in Ireland.
We are looking for a self motivated individual to help move forward the next generation public safety experience, and to work with a team of top experienced professionals to enable mission critical services and solutions.
In this position, you will have various responsibilities in regards to the radio telecommunications testing lab and the systems within the testing lab. These responsibilities include the following items:

1. Supporting Radio Frequency (RF) system testing efforts
2. Working with a radio test team on supporting testing efforts
3. Identifying technical and quality issues.
4. Understanding of networking equipment and configuration
5. Day-to-day support and troubleshooting of hardware/software problems
6. Lab maintenance/support
7. Perform system health checks (Devices, Server-side applications).
8. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities in a timely manner
9. Demonstrated communications skills, both verbal and written
10. Demonstrated understanding of RF
11. Installing and configuring testing equipment including
Servers
Network equipment
RF equipment
Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements:
12. AAS in Computer and Electronics Technology or similar degree / Technical Certificate with five or more years of experience in radio, LMR, RF, programming, or electronics field / system technician support
13. Ability to lift 40-45lbs
14. Familiarity with Motorola LMR systems a plus
15. Good personal and communication skills
16. Ability to work collaboratively
17. Detailed approach to issues investigation
18. Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Google applications (Gmail, Sheets, etc)
19. Must have thorough knowledge of PC hardware and software
20. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
Desired Skills:
21. Motorola ASTRO system knowledge
22. Experience with test automation and automation tools
23. Experience with configuring and managing the Network Equipment, such as switches and routers
24. Experience with Calibration of Signal Generators/ Signal Analyzers/ Oscilloscopes a plus
25. Troubleshoot services for all LAN and WAN hardware components, and configure correct RFSite communication equipment.
26. Experience working with network analyzers, such as Wireshark or Omnipeek
27. Experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins a plus
28. Experience in test automation is a plus
