The Opportunity
Join our Enterprise Security function as a Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance Manager, shaping and executing the organisation's cybersecurity strategy while ensuring robust governance structures are in place.
As a visionary leader with deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management, you will contribute to the development of organisational resilience, ensuring cybersecurity is embedded as a core component of EirGrid's operational and strategic framework.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing, implementing, and managing the Group's cybersecurity strategy to ensure the highest levels of protection against cyber threats.
* Aligning cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and improving the Group's overall cybersecurity posture.
Your Expertise:
* 10+ years' experience overseeing risk and compliance activities, including a deep understanding of risk management practices and experience driving risk culture.
* Extensive experience in a senior cybersecurity leadership role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies in complex organisations.
* Expertise in applicable frameworks, laws, regulations, and standards including Data Protection Laws, ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
About the Role:
This position requires a strong ability to problem-solve, multitask, track, and organise data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to key stakeholders and partnering with internal and external auditors and third parties, are essential.
A salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this role.
