We are also committed to training and developing our team members and ensuring their journey with us inspires them each day.Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:Assist with the development, and proactively implement the annual MICE sales plan for the hotelManage own portfolio of existing and new local and national accounts in MICE marketSoliciting new business in the domestic MICE market from corporates, charities, associations, institutions including national conferences, meetings and events and award ceremoniesIdentify and develop new business in the corporate groups segment targeting domestic clientsParticipating and supporting hotel Sales teams with customer visits, site inspections and large-scale eventsOversee contract negotiations and ensure all event details meet client expectations and hotel standardsCreate Sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them in line with hotel's budgetSupport the Sales team providing guidance and training to achieve departmental goalsParticipate in weekly executive meetings to align sales strategiesMonitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordinglyWork closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize room occupancy and average daily ratesAnalyse sales performance and provide insights into revenue forecasting and budget planningUtilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records of sales activities and client information.Work closely with the various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless guest experienceRepresent the brand while attending networking & industry events to build strong connections with potential clientsAttend training courses/seminars as requiredMaintain strict confidentiality in line with the company General Data Protection Regulation Policy and Confidentiality AgreementKey Skills and Competencies:Sales & Negotiation: Strong ability to drive sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.Leadership and Team Management: Proficient in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.Customer Relationship Management: Skilled in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.Revenue Management: Ability to analyse market trends and competitor data to optimize pricing and maximize revenue.Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations and reportsRequirements for the role:Proven experience in a high-paced sales environment, ideally within hospitality.At least 2 years proactive hotel sales experience, hotel proactive MICE Sales experience is preferredHighly motivated, energetic, and ready to go the extra mile.A strong track record of driving revenue and achieving targetsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to meet deadlinesAbility to articulate and present ideas effectively.Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
