Our client a distribution organisation are currently looking to recruit an accountant to join their business to replace the current accountant who will be retiring.
The organisation has an office in Dublin city but this role can mainly be done remote once trained up.
Role Responsibility Preparation of accounts to include P & l/ Balance Sheet Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Daily posting and reconciliation of invoices and bank accounts.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Expense processing Preparation of accrual and other journals as required.
Preparation of monthly cash flow and management of invoice factoring process.
Vat and PAYE submissions.
Assist with the annual external audit.
Candidate requirements Minimum 3 Years experience in a finance function preferably in the retail/wholesale sector.
P & L/Balance sheet knowledge with working knowledge of AR & Ap reporting process.
Must have excellent attention to detail, analytical, organisational and written skills.
Strong IT skills preferably using Sage 50 and Microsoft 365 Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
