Site Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our client's team for a high-profile civil infrastructure project in Donegal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management and supervision of the construction site to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
* Perform daily site inspections, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.
* Monitor and report on progress, providing updates to the Project Manager.
* Ensure all work is documented, and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and measurements.
* Help with the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety plans.
* Interpret and implement design drawings and technical specifications on-site.
* Resolve any site-related issues or challenges promptly to minimize delays and ensure project continuity.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* At least 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with experience in roadworks, utilities, or other civil works.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Full driving license and flexibility to work at different site locations as required.
* Health and safety qualifications (e.g., Safe Pass)
