Our client is a leading supplier of Medical equipment, services & solutions that improve the quality of life for people with reduced mobility and age-related health challenges. They are seeking an Outcome Sales Manager to join the Irish team in a newly formed position.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Outcomes Sales Manager shall be responsible for the Business development & Mobility Outcome programs implementation and execution across Ireland. The person must have the ability to travel throughout Ireland (NI & ROI) with occasional visits to GB. This is a Critical role interfacing with all key functions.
The purpose of the Mobility Outcomes Manager function is to create and develop new capabilities in order to support the corporate strategy to become a Mobility Outcome Partner. This includes being responsible for the successful deployment and execution of Outcome programs and ultimately for the budget results (consultancy and related product revenue) that develop as a result. Starting with establishment of customer pipeline in collaborations with sales, present offering to C-suite and ensure full execution upon signed contract and achievement of guaranteed outcomes.
Manage efficiency and effectiveness of SEM sales and clinical consultancy, coaching and development of linked supports, driving Mobility Outcome Programmes revenue to achieve 2025 and 2030 corporate strategy revenue goals. Working with the UKI Mobility Outcomes Team, Ireland National Sales Manager, Ireland General Manager and the broader commercial team to ensure alignment between Mobility Outcomes Programme goals and wider Ireland business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Establish, maintain and develop the local capabilities to deploy and execute outcome programs in collaboration with local and global key stakeholders
2. Create awareness, understanding and excitement for the outcome programs within the local organization as well as customers and other external stakeholders
3. Be the local subject matter expert for other assessment tools used by the sales organization such as Insight etc
4. Establish a strong cross functional collaboration with local sales and marketing as well as relevant global functions such as Medical Affairs, Marcom, Portfolio and Category Management and Academy
5. Provide team leadership and direction with the aim of achieving / exceeding sales targets and business growth
6. Build business development strategy for Ireland that will deliver profitable growth
7. Lead and develop the SEM & Clinical Account managers in their daily work to execute outcome programs
8. Develop and implement strategic plans for new business opportunities in line with local objectives.
9. Drive senior level customer engagement and build professional relationships with prospective customers, through the promotion of the company’s strategy via presentations, demonstrations and related general marketing activities etc.
10. Create and implement annual business plans, quarterly reviews and regular team personal development plans. Achieve targets and manage budgets for your respective team. Ensure the team prepares and effectively implements the territory plans in a timely manner
11. Implement the selling 8 process and utilise the planning and reporting tools effectively to ensure a consistent approach
12. Assist with Tender Submissions where SEM and Mobility Outcomes need to be included and considered
13. Enable a high level of cross functional communication especially SEM JSC commercial leads, Sales, Service, Rental & Operations and work closely with support teams to deliver an outstanding customer service and sales growth
14. Produce accurate forecasts and timely reports on progress against the region’s business plan in accordance to required timescales
15. Drive outcome program business results through close collaboration with sales and marketing to develop a sales funnel with suitable target customers for outcome programs and subsequently work to move the targets toward closing of an outcome program contract.
16. Lead the customer problem assessment, define the resolution and determine associated outcome guarantee
Knowledge/Experience
17. Degree, ideally healthcare realated
18. Strong Healthcare experience in terms of patient care
19. 5+ years experience in sales management, comfortable collaboaring across divisions
20. The jobholder will have wide experience of implementing new products and services or similar change management processes in medical sector across Ireland
21. It is essential for the successful candidate to have experience of applying leadership at all levels and work cross functionally within the organisation and externally with customers, partners and relevant suppliers
22. A strong communicator with a clear understanding of project management, Health economics, Commercial acumen, excellent time management skills and ability to delegate effectively
23. Strong understanding of the HSE & NHS as well as private healthcare facilities
