We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary Financial Accountant to join our clients team.
This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in payroll processing and Revenue Online Service (ROS) compliance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payroll execution, and adherence to tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax and employment regulations.
Manage payroll-related reporting and submissions via ROS.
Ensure accurate calculation of statutory deductions (PAYE, PRSI, USC, pension contributions, etc.).
Prepare and file VAT, PAYE/PRSI, and other tax returns using ROS.
Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Assist with general accounting tasks, including accounts reconciliation and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Requirements: Professional Qualification: Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA) or relevant financial certification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial accounting with a strong focus on payroll processing and ROS compliance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, BrightPay) and strong Excel skills.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Irish tax regulations, payroll legislation, and financial reporting standards.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in payroll processing and financial transactions.
Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities and auditors.
