The ACE Evaluation team is seeking a motivated Design Evaluation Engineer to provide support to our automotive team located at ADI's Limerick Campus.
There are 5 full time engineers in the Design Evaluation team, and around 50 engineers in the wider Automotive Cabin Experience group across multiple faculties and sites.
We are working on developing ADI's E2B product family.

Design Evaluation is a mixed hardware and software role.
We evaluate the silicon (both prototypes and final production devices), debug any issues, verify the design, characterize performance, take measurements, and support our worldwide teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop, execute, analyze, and debug complex silicon test cases.Combination of hardware and software development.Perform silicon measurements and characterization using lab equipment.Develop, prototype, and use evaluation board hardware.Develop automation of lab equipment.Prototyping customer solutions on the bench.Minimum qualifications: A qualification in electronic/computers/software engineering.Ability to develop code in C, Python, or similar programming languages.Familiarity with analog electrical circuit theory.Familiarity with digital logic fundamentals.Familiarity with lab equipment measurements.Interested in using lab equipment and a hands-on approach.Preferred skills: Object-oriented programming.Experience using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or equivalent devices.Connecting sensors or actuators to devices and using them in projects.Hands-on approach, comfortable working with hardware, boards, equipment, etc.#LI-CO1
