Cluster Financial Controller Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cluster Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of two prestigious 4-star hotels located in Tipperary and Waterford.
Role Overview:
The Cluster Financial Controller will oversee all financial aspects of both hotels, ensuring accurate reporting, strategic financial planning, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Oversight:
o Lead the preparation of management accounts, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and cashflow projections, ensuring precision and actionable analysis.
o Track and manage all revenue streams, providing insights to improve profitability and address trends.
* Operational Support:
o Oversee the accounts team to ensure efficient management of cash flow, payroll, creditors, and debtors.
o Guarantee timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
* Compliance & Taxation:
o Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, submitting returns and payments punctually to avoid risks or penalties.
* Risk Management:
o Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the business against liabilities.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with:
* Proven track record as a Financial Controller in a 4-star hotel or equivalent hospitality environment.
* Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or similar credentials.
* In-depth knowledge of KPIs, internal controls, forecasting, and budgeting within the hospitality sector.
* Strong ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights to drive business growth.
* Experience managing and inspiring teams to achieve shared objectives.
* Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial management software.
