Key Responsibilities:
* Organise and facilitate activities tailored to residents’ needs.
* Maintain variety and progression in activity programs.
* Prepare rooms and equipment in line with safety protocols.
* Engage with local groups to enhance resident experiences.
* Promote person-centered care and effective communication.
* Support management in audits and inspections.
* Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
* FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or related field.
* Desirable: Care of the Older Person, Dementia, or Palliative Care modules.
* Valid certifications (CPR, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Safeguarding) - training available if needed.
* Experience in elderly care within a residential setting.
* Skills in arts, crafts, music, gardening, or similar are a plus.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and resident well-being.
* Full Irish driver’s license required.
