Job Description
We are seeking proficient and adaptable Clerical Officers to provide clerical support across the Northern Ireland Health service. This role will involve effective liaison with patients, clients, and Trust colleagues to ensure a smooth-running and comprehensive service.
Responsibilities
* Providing all aspects of clerical support to management teams, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and managing incoming and outgoing post.
* Diary management, answering telephone and face-to-face enquiries, and providing reception support.
* Carrying out ward clerk duties, word processing clinical correspondence, and data entry.
* Using computerised systems and databases to store, retrieve, and prepare clinical records.
Requirements
* At least 6-12 months relevant experience within a Clerical or Administration capacity.
* Previous experience within a Health & Social Care Trust or Medical setting is highly advantageous.
* Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office Packages and strong data entry skills.
* Patient-focused approach and possession of 4 GCSEs including Maths and English.
