Quality Technician | Manufacturing | Med-Tech | Offaly | QTech
An opportunity exists for a full-time Quality Technician reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer to join our state-of-the-art plant in Clara, Co Offaly.
This role is responsible for and has the authority to initiate, recommend, verify, and provide solutions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity related to the product, process, and the quality system.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for quality issues within the production area, placing raw material, finished product on hold, writing required reworks for production issues.
* Creating Master Samples, reviewing PPS settings for all new jobs, and signing off on all QA required reworks in production.
* Work order review and product release, including provision of release documentation.
* Monitoring and approval of in-process controls and records.
* Investigation of production issues, NCMR management, segregation and containment of non-conforming product, analysis, effective and timely closure.
* Quality documentation and records maintenance.
* Control and issue of documentation, archiving of quality records.
* BMS, calculation of raw data, and documenting OOS readings.
* Q-up management.
* Carry out daily audits, maintain and update the log.
* Materials testing.
* Review of product specs from Product Engineering.
* Environmental monitoring and recording.
* Maintenance and communication of GMP standards throughout the plant.
* Reporting of quality issues as they arise with superiors and other functional supervisors.
* Other duties that may arise.
Education:
* Quality qualification desirable.
* Advanced/Higher Certificate (required).

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to information.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
* Good interpersonal skills and enjoys being part of a team.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Multitasking, meeting deadlines, and working effectively within a fast-paced environment.
